SITU is an app for construction and real estate professionals. You photograph what you observe, locate each photo on your plan, then generate the report in one click. You receive a complete package by email with the PDF report, annotated plans, and all original photos renamed and compressed without loss of quality.

SITU is not site-management or project-tracking software. It supports you where you lose the most time day to day, without changing your work habits or the way you organise things: it removes the time-consuming rework back at the office (transferring photos, layout work, annotating plans, etc.) while improving both precision and the quality of the final report. On site your workflow stays the same as before; what shrinks is mostly the hours at the desk afterward. The most comprehensive project management tools (teams, deadlines, centralised files, etc.) are often harder to roll out and often require a real change in how you work, which isn't true of SITU. In short: SITU does one thing, and does it really well: clear, precise, branded photo reports, available in your inbox straight away.

Yes. SITU works on mobile, tablet and computer, on all major operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, etc.). Your data is synced and accessible from all your devices.

The app is available in French, German, English and Italian. You can change the language in the settings.

Yes. Data is hosted securely. Your photos and plans are stored privately and are only accessible to you. For more details, see our privacy policy.

To sign in, simply enter your email address. You receive a 6-digit code. No password to remember. You stay signed in on the same device until you sign out from the settings.

Yes. Once you have opened a project on your device, you can keep working without a connection: take photos, locate them on the plan, add comments. If the internet drops during a survey, you can continue without interruption.

You can import plans as PDF or image (JPG, PNG), or photograph a paper plan directly with your camera. You can add as many plans as you need per project.

Yes. You can choose not to locate your photos on a plan. Observations are still documented with photos and comments, and the photo PDF report is generated as usual, without an annotated plan.

Projects remain accessible for 90 days after they are created, or 30 days after the package is sent, then they are deleted. If you kept the ZIP folder received by email, you can always re-import it using the Import button on the app home page.

No. With a monthly or annual subscription, you can create as many projects as you like, with no limit. With the free version, you can generate two complete reports to try the app under real conditions.

The report generated by SITU is a photo report: photos, annotations, comments and locations are laid out perfectly and automatically. Although you can certainly share it as-is, in most cases it is used as an appendix to another document (report, minutes, etc.).

The package includes a PDF report branded for your company, with photos, comments and annotated plans showing the location of each observation. It also includes a photo folder with all photos sorted, renamed, numbered and compressed without loss of quality.

Yes. In the app settings, you can customize the layout. Every PDF report generated by SITU reflects your company/organisation identity.

Yes. All data captured on site is automatically saved and instantly accessible on your computer at: app.situ.ch. Simply open the project and click the checkpoints you want to edit. You can even add checkpoints if you forgot something. You can then finalize the project and you will receive the complete package by email.

Yes. A sent project remains accessible for 30 days on your dashboard. You can open any observation and edit it. You can also delete an observation or add a new one if you forgot something. Then simply generate the report again to receive it by email.

The free version lets you generate 2 complete reports, identical to the paid version. No credit card required.

After the free trial, the monthly subscription is CHF 59/month. The annual subscription is CHF 35/month billed annually — more than 4 months free compared to the monthly rate.
